The Federal Government has announced a tax credit for businesses investing in solar energy starting in Spring 2023. The Clean Technology ITC would provide a 20–30% refundable credit, based on the capital cost of qualifying equipment.

SolarHomes for Not-For-Profits

Non-profits in Nova Scotia can get solar energy benefits by applying for the Solar for Non-Profit pilot program from Efficiency Nova Scotia, which offers rebates up to $15,000. 

Fisheries and Aquaculture rebate

Fisheries and aquaculture businesses in Nova Scotia can access rebates for energy efficiency upgrades to their facilities through Efficiency Nova Scotia.
