Please keep an eye on this page for updates as we navigate the COVID-19 pandemic and what we’re doing to help protect our staff, clients and community.

Latest Update: April 27th, 2020

Solar Ascent has suspended all installations until further notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This decision was made due to the Provincial State of Emergency declared on March 22nd, 2020, and the resulting actions of NS Power to cease all non-essential electrical inspections until further notice.

Our primary concern is the health of our staff, clients and community. We’re eager to resume our installation efforts and help Nova Scotians reduce their carbon footprints and are continually monitoring the situation as it develops. Until then, we’re doing our part to flatten the curve by heeding the advice of health authorities and our leadership team is working remotely from home.

We’ve been assured by the leadership at Efficiency Nova Scotia’s SolarHomes program that any client that has been pre-approved for the rebate will not be held to the 12 month time line to complete the project. We appreciate this news as we want our clients to feel comfortable with moving forward when it suits them.

Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. We’re continuing to monitor the situation and will be posting here as the situation evolves.

Thank you and stay safe!
