Andrea brings energy, insight, and a serious passion for safety and sustainability to everything she does. Here’s a closer look at what drives her—and why she chose Solar Ascent.
Why Andrea Joined the Team
Andrea and her husband were looking to install solar at their own home when they first connected with Solar Ascent.
“We went with Solar Ascent because they were friendly, honest, responsive, and knowledgeable.”
But it wasn’t just the initial experience that stood out. When the installation crew showed up, Andrea was impressed by how organized, professional, and upbeat they were.
“They had fun while working and really seemed to enjoy their jobs. And the attention to detail? Spectacular. There wasn’t a scrap of garbage left behind!”
That experience stuck with her—and made the decision to join the team a no-brainer.
“A local company that’s honest, knows how to have fun, and actually cleans up after themselves? Of course, I wanted to be part of that!”
What She Loves Most About Solar
Simple answer?
“It’s renewable!”
And beyond that, Andrea finds real purpose in the work she does.
“With every installation, we’re helping shift from fossil fuels to renewables. That means doing our part for the planet.”
Life Outside of Work
Andrea’s not one to sit still. She loves a good challenge—especially physical ones.
“I push myself through sports like rock climbing and running. Lately, I’ve even started dabbling in pottery!”
She credits her husband and two cats for keeping her grounded and inspired.
“They’re my biggest fans!”
What Excites Her About Solar’s Future
Andrea sees big potential in where solar is headed.
“Interest in solar is growing fast, and the creative ways it’s being used—like agrivoltaics (dual use of land)—are amazing.”
